Robert Scott has been a shareholder and president of Scott, Stackrow & Co., CPAs, P.C. since 1982. A 1979 graduate of Siena College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, he is responsible for the supervision of the firm’s various tax, accounting, auditing and financial planning services. He is also responsible for the firm administration. Bob was licensed to practice public accounting in New York State in April 1981 and in Vermont in March 1988. He has special expertise in (1) auditing financial statements, particularly those of small businesses, government subsidized housing projects and municipalities, (2) small business consulting, (3) income tax preparation, and (4) estate planning.
In additional to volunteering his time to a variety of civic and philanthropic organizations, Bob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Vermont State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
